The Most Effective Methods for Absorbing Solar Energy
Posted by ANSON SANDE
How to Absorb Universal Energy
Essence, Energy, and Spirit are the three treasures of energy in the human body. People often lose their body energy due to various worldly matters. For instance, after work, one may experience physical exhaustion, fatigue, or soreness. To recover this energy, one must rely on universal energy.
Universal energy can come from different sources, such as practicing martial arts or cultivating Energy through meditation and internal practices. External forces like meditation and spiritual practices can draw energy from external sources like the sun, moon, stars, and nature, such as mountains and trees, which benefit human health.
Take solar energy as an example; it is one of life’s three treasures, alongside air and water. Without them, humanity cannot survive, and neither can other living beings. Solar energy enhances human vitality. For example, during the scorching summer, when sunlight is abundant and sweat pours down, sweating can boost metabolism. After drying off, one feels a sense of "coolness," as solar energy provides heat and light, granting humans a feeling of upliftment.
Additionally, to absorb solar energy, one should do so in the early morning or during sunset when the sun is gentle, the light is softer, and ultraviolet rays are at their lowest. The energy is particularly rich when the sun is rising or setting, as the heat is pure and poses minimal harm to the body. There are three methods to absorb solar energy:
-
Practice martial arts or meditate facing east. You can also stand and meditate facing the sun with your feet shoulder-width apart, arms outstretched like a stick. After looking at the sun for about two minutes, close your eyes with a grateful heart and visualize the sunlight entering through the "ajna chakra" as you take a deep breath.
-
Visualize the sun above your head gradually shining down to your "crown chakra," with its warmth entering your elixir field, continuously releasing heat and light that empowers you.
-
Face the sun, placing your palms toward it for about three minutes. Then rub your palms together to generate heat and apply this warmth to your entire body, rubbing each area—face, head, wrists, abdomen, and feet—10 to 15 times. This will enhance your overall warmth and comfort.
These three methods of absorbing solar energy are best practiced in front of mountains or ancient trees, as the mountains possess spiritual energy and infinite light, while large trees may be decades, centuries, or even millennia old. Both have "reflux boards" that allow one to enhance energy through movement or meditation.
Since the human body has a magnetic field, one can feel the "universal energy." You can extend your arms to the sides, bending them slightly with palms facing upward, and meditate on the large tree releasing "spiritual energy" to you. Absorb this energy through your palms and ajna chakra. By being in the presence of mountains or trees, you can collect spiritual energy, coordinating with your breath and visualizing the tree releasing pure spiritual energy (fresh oxygen), along with fragrances (like phytoncides) into your body, while exhaling any impurities or negative energy through your palms and ajna chakra.
The human body requires oxygen to survive, while trees need carbon dioxide to grow, creating a mutually beneficial relationship. If we persistently practice inhaling solar energy and the energy from trees for fifteen minutes each day, our complexion will become rosy, our spirits will be high, and we will feel rejuvenated.
Methods for Absorbing Universal Energy: Uses and Origins
The origin of absorbing universal energy: I observed practitioners of fasting and Energy absorption who can live without food, and thought, "I should be able to achieve this too." So, I experimented with absorbing external energy, and found that my internal energy grew stronger and stronger. After this experience, I formulated this method for everyone to practice and study. If there are any shortcomings, I welcome corrections from experts.
Applicable To: Those who wish to absorb external Energy to enhance their internal Energy for healing and to develop specific functions.
Effects: During inhalation, one can gather energy in the middle elixir field, and upon exhalation, the Energy spreads to the extremities, facilitating the opening of the central meridian.
Key Points:-
Focus on Sensation: Concentrate on "feeling" and "gently guiding Energy with intention."
-
Breathing: The breath should be natural and elongated, becoming longer and more subtle until it reaches a state of "fetal breathing." This can be practiced in various standing or sitting postures.
Standing Posture Breakdown:
Leg Position: The legs should not be completely straight to avoid straining the knees; they should be slightly bent. However, they shouldn’t be too bent like in a horse stance, which would overstrain the muscles. The knee joints and muscles should each bear half the weight.
Initial Hand Position:
-
Place both hands naturally over the pubic area (above the perineum, below the abdomen), with fingers slightly curved and tips facing each other.
-
Alternatively, spread fingers apart with palms slightly curved and facing upwards, fingertips touching.
Visualization: Imagine yourself in a golden liquid, similar to being submerged in water. If the "concentration is too high" and inhalation becomes difficult, visualize being in a cloud of golden steam, like a humid bathroom after running hot water. When successful and you feel it, you can begin to absorb Energy. Before you start, "understand" that you are like a large hollow syringe. If you don’t understand and only visualize, be mindful not to let the syringe image distract you; hence, I suggest understanding is sufficient.
Inhalation Steps:
-
During inhalation, visualize energy entering your body through every pore, from your feet to your head, filling every corner. If you cannot feel it all at once, focus on feeling (or visualize) the golden energy flowing in, accompanied by an infinite warm current. As your skills develop, both the visualization and sensation of the warm currents filling every part of your body should become natural, since everything is a product of the mind.
-
Slowly raise your hands to the middle elixir field, as if pulling a syringe.
-
As you lift, let the golden energy fill your lower body, continuing to raise your hands higher until they reach the middle elixir field.
-
Simultaneously, energy enters through your pores, nostrils, and central meridian. As your hands ascend to the middle elixir field, the golden energy follows. The chest and abdomen are divided, with energy entering the lower half from the lower body and the upper half from the upper body, so the hands move upwards and upwards. At this point, you may feel warmth in the elixir field; if the sensation is stronger, you’ll feel enveloped in a layer of warmth.
Exhalation Steps:
-
As you exhale, turn your palms downward to push out the energy, as if expelling energy from a syringe.
-
As you push down more, the energy exits through all your pores. If you don't feel it fully, your feet may heat up due to the effect of pushing downward. If you can feel it all, you will sense being enveloped in warmth.
-
If you experience discomfort or dizziness during practice, lower your hands to throat level to ensure the energy rises to the upper elixir field.
-
If energy accumulates in the head and cannot be released, it can lead to dizziness or headaches. In such cases, take a break, sit down, and visualize the energy exiting from the head. This method tends to be more effective. Afterward, rub your head to disperse accumulated energy on the skin and massage to break up the energy that has built up.
Hand gestures are initially used to help focus attention. Once familiar with the practice, allow your hands to hang naturally at your sides while standing or follow the seven-point sitting posture when seated.
If you experience leg soreness during practice, take a break or walk around. While walking, you can also practice by letting your hands swing naturally back and forth without control to avoid distraction.
Visualization/Sensation Techniques: Beginners who haven’t reached the right state may not feel anything; they can use visualization instead but should strive to learn to feel, as visualization remains in the realm of imagination while feeling provides tangible experience.
If you find the breathing instructions overwhelming, you can substitute this method: During inhalation, feel the golden energy entering your middle dantian and filling your entire body. Upon exhalation, visualize the energy exiting through your pores, transforming into golden light surrounding you, making you feel enveloped in a golden glow. While inhaling, you might feel warm as if waking up in a cozy blanket on a winter morning, experiencing joy as if achieving a task or unexpectedly gaining a treasure without spending money. During exhalation, you will sense all negativity leaving your body, leading to a feeling of ease, lightness, joy, and comfort.
Healing: If you have pain in your body, you can direct the golden energy to the affected area. During exhalation, any remnants of the ailment will be expelled along with the energy. Just as when using disinfectant on a wound, you may see white bubbles forming, and when wiped with a tissue, they disappear completely. Similarly, when you visualize or feel energy exiting through your pores, all remnants of healing are also cleared away. With each expulsion, your body will feel more relaxed, unobstructed, and invigorated, leading to better health.
Note: I must acknowledge that this method shares many similarities with the meditation techniques described in yoga, especially regarding the visualization of golden energy. I have added several movements and requirements for sensation. My instructions are also more detailed and systematic. I personally tested this method before encountering the similar technique described elsewhere, confirming its effectiveness, yet it is quite coincidental that the methods align.
Spiritual Enhancement Method: Absorbing Solar Energy through Sun Gazing
"No One Can Live Without Food", Almost everyone would readily agree with this statement. However, the authority of this saying is challenged by the actions of an extraordinary Indian, Hira Ratan Manek. According to the Times of India, this 64-year-old man has not consumed any solid food for the past eight years, sustaining himself solely on water and sunlight. This phenomenon is named after him as the HRM Phenomenon. Recently, he was invited by NASA to the United States, where they hope to study the HRM Phenomenon to help address life support and food storage issues during long space missions.
The Manek Mystery
Manek was born into a Jain family in Gujarat, India, but has spent most of his life in Kerala. By chance, he met a Hindu female monk, which sparked his interest in the sun. He recalls, "She suggested that I concentrate the sun's energy for the benefit of humanity. I was 25 at the time, a mechanical engineer. It wasn't until 30 years later that I took her suggestion seriously, interrupting my career to read extensively."
In simple terms, Manek's method involves gazing at the sun, using the energy it emits to channel his own energy. While humanity is increasingly using solar energy—through solar cookers, solar water heaters, and solar cars—Manek remains the only person known to sustain himself solely on solar energy.
The Times of India explains that Manek's sun gazing process is gradual. Initially, he gazed at the rising sun for just a few seconds, gradually increasing the time by a few seconds each week until he reached several minutes. "Lacking the desire to harness solar energy will achieve nothing. The best times to gaze at the sun are within one hour after sunrise and one hour before sunset, when UV and infrared rays are least harmful to the body," says Manek.
He claims that about three months into this practice, his brain's energy began to replenish, and his mental strength increased. During this time, fears and many mental disorders were cured. By the end of six months, all his ailments had disappeared. After eight to nine months, his feelings of hunger gradually diminished until they completely vanished. He describes this unique experience as a micro or spiritual utilization of food.
Manek believes that most people only utilize 3% to 10% of their brain capacity, while he is able to access 25%. He states that he is the only one to have reached this level and gained the attention of the medical community. CT scans and MRIs show that his pineal gland functions at a level equivalent to that of a 20-year-old. In addition to sun gazing, another crucial practice is walking barefoot. Manek advises people to walk barefoot on the earth for 45 minutes each day to recharge their energy.
Manek has a profound enthusiasm for pursuing this supernatural ability, hoping that through his efforts, this method will become timeless. He asserts that solar energy has sufficient power to meet the needs of a relaxed mind and a healthy body.
Absorbing Solar Energy through Sun Gazing
This method mainly consists of two parts: sun gazing and walking barefoot on the ground. In India, this practice has been known and practiced for thousands of years, with claims of healing the mind and body. Through extensive practice, sun gazing can help a person maintain perfect health, a good mood, and a high level of life energy. The healing factor comes from the energy of the sun and the earth.
Those who experience high energy often also experience a reduction in appetite, which occurs in almost all sun gazing masters, even those who initially do not believe in it. A noticeable decrease in appetite typically happens after seven months, though it can also occur after three months of continuous practice or after nine months.
One of the contemporary advocates bringing this method back into the spotlight is Hira Ratan Manek from India. On his website (www.solarhealing.com), he details this process and hosts numerous forums discussing sun gazing.
Here is a simple description of Hira Ratan Manek's sun gazing method: each morning at sunrise or each evening at sunset, you should gaze at the center of the sun. While gazing, stand barefoot on the ground. On the first day, gaze for a maximum of 10 seconds. Each subsequent day, increase the time by 10 seconds. If you practice daily, you can reach 5 minutes in a month and up to 44 minutes within nine months, which is the maximum allowable duration.
Another important activity in his method is to ensure that you walk barefoot for at least 45 minutes each day, even when not gazing at the sun. In summary, if you gaze at the sun daily, the entire process should take nine months to complete. After that, you won't need to gaze every day; you may do so occasionally to maintain a high energy level. The duration and frequency of sun gazing should be adjusted based on individual circumstances, considering local climate and lifestyle. However, daily barefoot walking is highly recommended.
If you live in an area where you cannot see the sunrise or sunset, the entire process may take longer. If you miss a few days of sun gazing, do not extend your gazing time afterward. If you take a long break (for example, several weeks), reduce the time of your next gazing session.
Gazing should be done within one hour after sunrise and one hour before sunset, which is crucial for protecting your eyes. This means you should not gaze at the sun during the day, especially at noon.
I hope this warning is clear enough: forcing your eyes to gaze at the sun at any other time than sunrise or sunset can damage the retina! Gazing for too long without a gradual approach can burn this sensitive area. If burned, even if a person retains their vision, they may see things with holes or spots. There is currently no medication that can heal such retinal damage.
Another promoter of the benefits of sun gazing is yoga instructor Sunyogi Umasankar, who "discovered a method to directly absorb energy from the sun, eliminating the need for food, water, and even sleep." Based on these abilities, Umasankar-ji has walked 62,000 kilometers in India without spending a penny, sharing his methods with others.
According to his teachings, initial sun gazing should begin at sunrise or sunset, starting with very short durations and gradually extending them. If gazing directly at the sun is too glaring, one can look slightly up instead. The key is to practice regularly.
By the way, one of the biggest mistakes people make is wearing sunglasses. In some cases, it is advised to wear sunglasses to protect the eyes from bright light. If you are not practicing sun gazing, then using sunglasses while welding, walking on a snowy mountain in sunlight, at the beach, or while driving towards the sun for long periods is all justified.
Wearing sunglasses on sunny days often exacerbates a person's lack of life energy. Allowing sunlight to enter unprotected eyes is essential for the normal functioning of the body and mind. This mainly involves the operation of the skin, pineal gland, and pituitary gland. When a patient stops wearing sunglasses and their skin is exposed to sunlight, many so-called "chronic diseases" begin to disappear.
It's important to understand that in the solar system, the sun acts like a father, bringing life to all planets. A child who is restricted from connecting with their parents would feel so unhappy and struggle to thrive.
Summary of the Previous Discussion on Sun Gazing
Yesterday, while talking about the sun at Liang's home, Liang mentioned, "It seems there are more cloudy days now? If there were six months of cloudy weather, a person's blood composition would undergo significant changes because the 'yellow-red' substance in sunlight directly affects the blood." I replied, "Indeed, I didn't realize how little sun we see until I could see it again. Now, on bright sunny days, it truly feels rare, and just a few days without sunlight can change one's mood. It seems that sunlight, blood, and emotions are all interconnected, and I have come to understand this deeply."
After returning home, I reflected that I have been gazing at the sun for almost three months, and I should summarize my experience. Some friends have also sent messages asking me to share my insights. Here are a few points to summarize:
-
The earlier you start gazing at the sun, the better. Each session shouldn't be too long—about half an hour, followed by a few minutes of rest before resuming. The sun is stronger around 7:30 to 8:00 AM, so extra caution is required. My experience has been that during the initial long period (around two months), my mood was unstable during the first half hour, but after that, I naturally stabilized. You will feel joy and a sense of achievement.
-
After surpassing the noon hour, your confidence will greatly increase. Others may warn you about damaging your eyes or getting skin cancer, but you need not fear. The darker you get now, the lighter you will become later. Moreover, your skin will become smoother. (Liang said: "Everything is inverted; the darker you are, the lighter you will become.")
-
After gazing at the sun, there will be a feeling of heat around the eye sockets, while a cool sensation moves down through the body; this is energy adjusting your system. Liang mentioned that the energy and blood composition are changing. Just let it happen naturally, without concern. This is crucial.
-
During the gazing process, the sun will change colors—red, yellow, and purple—this is a good sign. The more colors you see, the better the energy. Don't panic if you feel dizzy; just breathe and relax, allowing the feeling to pass.
-
Ultimately, please remember that this method cannot be forced; it should flow naturally. Start with your daily sun gazing practice, including brief sessions, walking barefoot, and allowing sunlight to enter your eyes, and your appetite will gradually decrease.
Lastly, I suggest not to share everything on social media. Don't let others influence your practice; just follow your path. Consider the vitality of your life as your most precious asset, so protect it as much as possible.
